We use new tools to address long-standing issues. Stalled fundraising revenue; fatigued fundraisers working hard, an "aging out" donor pool for annual contributions. We've been there, and because of that, we know what works. We understand when a "refresh" is needed, and when a solid revisioning of strategy is needed What is different about us is that we aim to build the internal capacity so that you retain your fundraising staff for years, building those donor relationships over time that we know really does make a difference. Even though our firm is 20 years old, we are fundraisers first and consultants second, so we know what it's like; from the "ground up". We have fundraisers who come directly from the field as recently as Fall 2022 so we know what donors are talking about and how their giving has changed -- so you don't have to wait for a report to come out to learn why donors are behaving differently than they did during and before COVID. Our approach is to resource your team through skill-building so you are creating internal capacity without having to hire new talent - which is costly in dollars and donor relationships. Not to mention team morale. We walk with your staff to help them grow and succeed.

Our Story
Kate opened Taylor Made in 2002 to help small and medium-sized organizations move from event to Major Gift fundraising. Using the capabilities already built by those organizations - the relationships of long-time event attendees; the recently inspired new donors; or an issue area timely and appealing to a new population, Taylor Made soon had a reputation for effective custom solutions. We've never looked back.
